Veterinary Technicians

IMMEDIATE openings for Vet Techs at Athens Regional Veterinary Services.  All applicants considered for positions including recent graduates and those who have no degree.  We have full time & part time openings available.

This is a small animal and large animal veterinary clinic in the Athens area. 

We provide care for a wide variety of animals including: dogs, cats, horses, cows, goats, rabbits, and others. 

We provide wellness care that includes:  routine exams, vaccinations, diagnostic lab tests, x-rays, ultrasound, surgery, and dentistry.  Emergency services are also provided whether it be a broken bone, lacerations, neurological disorder, x-ray, ultrasound or surgery.  Most patients are small animal, in-house treatments, although, we do go to farms to take care of animals there.

You will be helping perform all tasks from monitoring anesthesia, assisting with surgeries, administering fluids, monitoring hospitalized cases, to performing nail trims, getting vitals on animals as they come into the clinic, assist with x-rays and ultrasound, assisting the veterinarian with in-house appointments and on farm calls, and other duties as assigned.

Pay commensurate with experience and will be discussed at your interview.
