DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and oversee all operations of the Automotive Diesel Institute (ADI).
  • Lead and shape innovative academic content, curricula, and delivery modalities.
  • Partner and collaborate with industry contacts to ensure programs remain technically relevant in the industry and provide opportunities for students.
  • Identify opportunities to grow ADI through partnerships or the addition of unique programs, certifications, or delivery modalities.
  • Provide course schedule recommendations for ADI.
  • Hire, lead and coach program faculty, including hosting regularly scheduled meetings and arranging participation in ADI and campus-related events.
  • Work collaboratively with Admissions, Marketing, Academics, and Alumni to promote and grow the ADI programs through student recruitment and retention.
  • Remain current in academic fields, e.g., belonging to professional societies, participating in pedagogical professional development, attending conferences, working or volunteering in the field.
  • Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Maintain consistent communication with leadership, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operation of the organization.
  • Prepare and present training opportunities to businesses, organizations, and corporations, negotiate agreements, assure excellent delivery of all agreed upon terms.
The Director of the Auto Diesel Institute will hold an Associate Degree in Business, Information Technology, Management or a related discipline. An ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, proven experience within the higher education industry and experience in the auto diesel industry.
