About this Opportunity
The Applied Anthropology Laboratories is seeking to develop a pool of on-call archaeological field technicians for use on a project-by-project basis. We have projects pending for imminent fieldwork. Join a team of experts as we Learn, Work, and Discover!

Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.
Position Function
Perform Phase 1, Phase 2, or Phase 3 archaeological surveys and related laboratory analysis as assigned by Director, under direction of Crew Chief, Field Director, and/or Principal Investigator.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Archaeology or related field with relevant training in Anthropology and/or Archaeology.
Minimum Experience
At least 120 hours of archaeological experience in Cultural Resource Management or under similar working conditions.
Minimum Other
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Education
Training in laboratory analysis of prehistoric cultural materials.
An archaeological field school, particularly with a pre-contact component.
Preferred Experience
200+ hours of Cultural Resource Management experience in archaeology.
