Dental Assistant

 Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

• Assist dentist during procedures
• Take and process x-rays
• Maintain sterilization and infection control
• Schedule appointments and manage records
• Collaborate with dental team
• Educate patients on oral hygiene

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma
• Dental assisting program completion preferred
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Proficiency in dental software

Working Conditions:

• Dental offices or clinics
• Standing or sitting for extended periods
• Flexible working hours may be required

Dental Hygienist

 Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

• Conduct dental cleanings and screenings
• Perform oral health assessments
• Remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
• Assist dentists in treatment planning

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene
• State licensure and certification
• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and patient care focus

• Flexible schedules may include evenings and weekends
• Physical demands may include prolonged standing and fine motor skills
