Framebridge has eliminated the hassle and expense of traditional framing with our technology-driven platform. We have introduced the joy of telling and preserving stories and moments to a new generation. Customers order online in a few clicks, upload their art, or mail it in using Framebridge packaging. We custom frame and ship nearly 2000 frames per day to our customers.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Manufacturing Manager plans, develops, and leads a team to excel in the areas of safety, quality, and customer deliveries. The Manager is accountable for developing and installing consistent assembly and material flow processes within their areas of responsibility. The processes and workflows will drive very high levels of safety, quality yields, and deliveries based upon customer order dates. The Manufacturing Manager will develop their team to ensure that goals are met consistently. The Manager will communicate cooperatively across the organization to ensure the business performs at the highest levels.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans, schedules, and supervises work for their team.
- Builds a culture of safety and goal attainment.
- Attains goals for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Plans and participates in kaizen events to drive goal attainment.
- Plans and coordinates projects; communicates progress and completes projects on-time and on-budget.
- Assesses the strengths of team members and creates and manages development plans.
- Identifies and resolves challenges with a sense of urgency.
- Collaborates with cross-functional peers to solve challenges.
- Creates an environment of openness, trust, and accountability.
- Establish a training and certification process for each job on the team.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Business, Management, or Engineering
- Degree can be substituted with 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in delivering performance management feedback.
- Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement activities.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Lean Certified, or Six Sigma Black Belt, or similar experience (Toyota Production System, etc.)
- Proficiency leadership
- Experience in a fast-paced consumer business
