Paramedic
ERT/Paramedic – ProgressiveHealth, LLC – Montgomery, AL
We are looking for an energetic and results driven Paramedic to join our Emergency Response Team (ERT)! Help us provide onsite support at a local automotive manufacturer in Montgomery, AL. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive, supportive, and innovative team!
- Experience as an Emergency Medical Technician/EMT-B, Firefighter EMT, EMT Paramedic preferred, but not required. Also accepting new graduates.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Respond to calls for emergency and non-emergency transports
- Assess a patient’s condition and determine a course of treatment per local protocol
- Provide first-aid treatment and/or advanced level life support to patients
- Responding to all fires/fire alarms and taking appropriate actions
- Document medical care given to patients in a prompt and effective manner
- Inventory, replace, and clean supplies and equipment after use
- Inspecting and completing audits on all equipment and systems
- Assisting medical clinic staff with patient care as requested

Our ideal candidate will have:
- The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
- CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- ACLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
- The ability to stand or sit throughout entire assigned shift, walk for extended periods of time, and climb several flights of stairs
- Must be able to lift and carry 60lbs at least 100 feet
- A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
- Be able to maintain confidentiality
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
