Trailer Fleet Mechanic - Technician
Are you a Fleet Mechanic looking for a dynamic company to join? The Trailer Fleet Mechanic - Technician will provide mechanical support for all aspects of trailer and connecting gear related services for our small fleet of trailers. Our trailer fleet includes 48ft box trailers and combination sets. This position is full-time day shift and located at our Portland, OR facility.

As a Trailer Fleet Mechanic - Technician, you will:
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Operate typical shop equipment, including some misc. welding
- Perform all written documentation requirements for work performed
- Follow procedures or work instructions for assigned projects
- Capable of working efficiently with limited supervision
- Other duties as assigned
To be considered as a Trailer Fleet Mechanic - Technician, you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum six months of related trailer technician and/or equipment mechanic experience and/or training
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Self-motivated / able to work independently
- Ability to multi-task and self-organize daily work priorities
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to provide your own toolbox and tools
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- CDL-A license
- Welding experience
