Post Doctoral Associate

A postdoctoral position is available in the Freeman Lab at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh/University of Pittsburgh. The position will investigate mechanisms of enterovirus pathogenesis using a novel spinal cord organoid model. We are looking for a recent or imminent Ph.D. graduate with experience in immunology and microbiology. Experience with virology, flow cytometry, stem cells, organoids, and/or microscopy is a plus but is not required. The successful individual will be a collaborative, friendly, and motivated individual who is comfortable working as part of a group as well as independently to explore their ideas.
