Application Analyst - VolShop

JOB SUMMARY

This position will be responsible for assisting senior systems administration staff with retail systems project implementations, customizations, automations, maintenance, and support. The person in this role will assist in the creation and execution of data integrations, data conversion, data imports, and data exports between university systems, vendor systems, and VolShop retail systems. This role will assist in creating technological solutions to problems and inefficiencies identified by VolShop leadership, departments, and staff. In this role you will independently analyze technical problems and implement solutions in collaboration with higher-level systems administration staff or supervisor. This role will design, customize, deploy, maintain, and test scripts and/or software under the direction of senior administration staff.

This role will assist in the training, documentation, and support for VolShop staff on retail systems and functions. The person in this role will also assist system administration and desktop support with retail system maintenance, relocation, provisioning, and support of retail systems during normal business and after hours when needed, as well as game/event days.


Qualifications :

WORK PERFORMED

Create automation workflows and scripts in ERP.

Create custom scripted ERP records/forms in SuiteScript. Create custom formatted ERP data exports using SuiteScript. Create Saved Search/Reports for ERP data management Automating large datasets for ERP import using Python Create custom entry forms in HTML5.

Assist in retail system updates, upgrades, and deployments. Assist in UAT test system updates, upgrades, and customizations. Assist in custom integrations.

Assist in development of custom solutions. Assist in data conversion and migrations. Assist in development of custom solutions. Provide retail systems support for end users.

Create end user documentation on processes and procedures. Provide end user training on processes and procedures.

Create end user report.

Assist Desktop Support with retail system maintenance, relocation, provisioning, and support.

Assist Desktop Support with desktop and mobile device support. Assist Desktop Support with IT inventory tracking and inspection. Provide event and game day retail system support

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Associate’s degree

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and/or 1 year script/coding application work experience.

PREFERED REQUIREMENTS AND DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree

Experience scripting and automating technology in a retail systems environment Experience with data imports and exports
