Licensed Practical Nurse
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a support personnel for the Substance Abuse Program. The LPN provides nursing
services, health care monitoring, and
staff training. The position
requires a valid LPN licensure. A minimum of one year of nursing experience is
preferred. This position requires the
ability to work closely with other agency
personnel and the medical community,
knowledge of physical assessments,
pharmacology, and particularly psychotropic medication. Applicants must be at least
eighteen (18) years of age and have a
minimum of one (1) year qualifying nursing
experience. Staff must possess a valid GA
driver's license and continually meet the
requirements for VOASE's vehicle insurance company.
