Custodian/Handyman
Semi-Skilled knowledge of the routine, overall care and maintenance. Spring/summer/Fall: Operate weed trimmer/Leaf blower to remove weeds, picking up debris around premises and drains, painting, vacant units and hallway as needed. Perform routine cleaning including but not limited to sweep/mopping floors. Winter: Shovel and operate snow blower to remove snow from walkways, stairs, sidewalks and other areas as needed around the buildings. Opening and closing procedures, Work is performed both inside and outside. May be exposed to extreme heat and cold temperature weather. Some interactions with customers-showing units and cleaning out units as needed. Some handyman maintenance needed (painting, minor repairs to building when needed, grease gate chains, etc.) Performs work under general supervision, and be responsible for using own judgment to determine methods and procedure to accomplish work effectively. Make requisitions of supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and general maintenance of the building to Manager.
